The Society publishes a newsletter four times a year, formerly
called Biomedical Informatics Today (BMIT), but now renamed in line
with the Society's name change to UK Health Informatics Today (UKHIT).
UKHIT is posted to members of UKHiS along with the Journal of Health
Informatics. Electronic versions of UKHIT
are also available.
The newsletter typically contains a diary of forthcoming UKHiS
events, and of Health Informatics events generally in the UK and
abroad. News is also given of activities sponsored by the Society.
The greater part of the newsletter, however, contains articles,
profiles, reviews and opinions on all aspects of Medical and Health
Informatics.
The main editor is Jeannette Murphy
