Professor Denis Protti from the School of Health Information Science in the University of Victoria (Canada) will be presenting his ideas on the way in which health informatics can contribute to 21st century healthcare. Denis was one of the original external reviewers of Information for Health and went on to undertake an assessment of the process of implementation of Information for Health. He advised the NHS Executive on an appropriate way of evaluating the implementation of the strategy. The Protti Report is available online:
